In today's world, social media dominates our lives and with online interaction becoming more common so does cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is the use of technology to harass, threaten, embarrass, or target another person. Different from traditional bullying, cyberbulling takes place on the digital world and can happen anywhere, anytime, and to anyone. According to pewresearch.org 46% of U.S. teens (13-17) have experienced one of six of the cyberbullying behaviors. These six behaviors are name calling, the spreading of false rumors about them, receiving explicit images, harassment, and the sharing of explicit images. Sadly, cyberbullying won't end for the foreseeable future, but there are steps you can take to recognize it and prevent it.
